About

Welcome to our geoscience university database! The GUIDE portal provides detailed information about the curricula of the available geoscience university degree program(s) in Europe and beyond to help (potential) students looking for a suitable university program. The portal is coordinated by the German Professional Association of Geoscientists (BDG) in cooperation with the European Federation of Geologists (EFG). This portal has also been supported within the INTERMIN project and received funding from the European Union´s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under Grant Agreement No 776642.

How it works

The database contains general Information about universities and their programs, content of the curriculum with possible specialization areas measured in credit points and information about skills acquired in the raw material domain (interminproject.org) . The user has different query options for extracting the targeted information. After selecting either BSc or MSc programs, the main options for extracting the relevant information are (1) selecting one or more sub-disciplines and/or (2) selecting one or more cities.
